Joyce Williams
Founder/President

- Partnered with Dr Elisabeth Counselman Carpenter to conduct a formal study on breast cancer patient preferences on physician driven referrals to therapy. One article accepted for publication - expected spring 2023; and two articles currently under peer-review.
- Two oral publications with Dr Elisabeth Counselman Carpenter (CSWE, APM, Anaheim, CA Nov 2022; Society on Social Work Education 27th Annual Meeting, Phoenix, AZ, January 2023)

Ashley Moore
Director & Treasurer
- LMFT and owner of Building Blocks Family Counseling
- Initiated development of Making Lemonade Breast Cancer Group/Curriculum
- Worked with numerous clients who've experienced the medical trauma of breast cancer

Jennifer Davis
Director & Secretary
- Worked as Women's Health NP and Survivorship coordinator at local hospital
- Developed high-risk clinic at local hospital
- Worked closely with genetic counselor, breast surgeon, and others at hospital
- Knows the physical/medical side to treatment, but is also a huge advocate for mental health support too

Vanessa Brink
Director
- NP in medical oncology
- Knows the physical/medical side to treatment (especially with chemotherapy)
- Huge supporter of the mental health aspect of treatment too
- Investigated the potential benefits of Qui Chong for cancer patients

Vivian Palefsky
Director
- Oncology Nurse
- Worked directly with breast cancer patients and those who serve them (including the High-Risk Clinic coordinator, social workers, and medical providers)
- Helped support breast cancer patients while working at the Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial.
- Knows the emotional implications and the caregiver perspective.

Jenny Woodward
